ProSecure Funding Limited Partnership – March 2006

Ben Robins advised on a €500,000,000 upper tier 2 capital raising transaction for Deutsche Postbank AG, involving the establishment of a Jersey limited partnership (with a Jersey general partner) which issued Dated Upper Tier 2 Securities and used the proceeds of issue to acquire profit participation securities issued by Postbank. The Securities were rated and listed on the Irish Stock Exchange. The lead managers were Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch and Morgan Stanley & Co. International Limited. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Frankfurt were lead counsel to the managers.
