Project Protractor

James Hill, Celine Berniard, Lisa Le Maistre and Jeremy Berchem worked Project Protractor, for the trustees of Ironzar I Trust.

The transaction involved setting up several new Jersey partnerships and restructuring within the trust so that the property portfolio (including several London landmarks) was held by the partnerships. At the same time, the borrowing within the trust was refinanced (with a complete new raft of security being put in place). Additionally, an extra property was purchased and fitted into the structure. The property portfolio is worth approximately one billion.
