Daniel Birtwistle, Simon Felton and Matt Crill were responsible for the Jersey legal advice in relation to the establishment of 3i Quoted Private Equity Limited which raised a total of £400,000,000 by way of a placing. 3i Quoted Private Equity Limited is a closed ended collective investment fund listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange on 29 June 2007. The fund aims to acquire influential or controlling stakes in small and mid-cap quoted companies in the UK and continental Europe and aims to achieve absolute growth in the capital value of its investments over the medium-term, principally by using 3i Investments’ private equity techniques and methodologies.
