Kate joined the Guernsey office in January 2007 as a member of the Finance and Funds practice areas, where she advises on a range of corporate, finance and investment fund matters. Her recent work includes advising The Royal Bank of Scotland plc in relation to a £907 million facility to the Propinvest Group (involving 28 Guernsey entities). Prior to joining Mourant Kate was a senior associate at Cobbetts in Manchester where she gained extensive experience of a wide variety of corporate and commercial transactions, having qualified as an English Solicitor in 2000 (non-practising).
