AXA Secondary Fund IV

Cyman Davies, Felicia de Laat and Andrew Brizell advised on AXA Secondary Fund IV - AXA Private Equity’s latest fund investing in the private equity secondary market. Focussing on building a broadly diversified portfolio of secondary investments primarily located in the European Union and the United States, the fund is targeted at secondary acquisitions mainly ranging in value from US$20 million to US$800 million. The fund is structured as a Jersey limited partnership with a Jersey general partner company and has total combined commitments of approximately US$2.85 billion. The fund was launched in October 2006 and closed in June 2007.
