Simon graduated from Durham University in 1996. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1998 as a Harmsworth Scholar and practised in London before joining the litigation department of Quin & Hampson in 2002. Simon has an extensive commercial practice including insolvency matters, asset tracing and recovery, commercial fraud, professional negligence, insurance and reinsurance matters, as well as compliance and regulatory disputes. He also has significant experience in litigation funding. Simon represents a number of high profile institutional clients, one of which is a leading Cayman Islands insurance company involved in a multi-million dollar action arising out of hurricane Ivan.
