Julian Fletcher, Senior Associate

		T: +1 345 814 6322 E: julian.fletcher@mourant.com Julian obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Liverpool, England in 1998. He completed his professional qualifications at the Inns of Court School of Law in London, and obtained a Diploma in Professional Legal Skills from City University in London. Julian was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1999, to the New York Bar in 2001 and to the Bar of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in the British Virgin Islands in 2003. More recently, he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England in 2004 and as an Attorney in the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands in 2004. Julian joined the corporate department of Quin & Hampson in 2004. Prior to joining Quin & Hampson, Julian practised in New York and Toronto from 1999 to 2004 with Shearman & Sterling LLP in the derivatives and capital markets groups. At Shearman & Sterling, Julian advised Canadian and international companies with respect to public and private finance transactions in a broad range of industries including information technology, petro-chemicals, mining, pharmaceuticals, entertainment and telecommunications. Julian also represented investment banks and underwriting syndicates as their counsel in the negotiation and execution of securities transactions.
