Kenneth obtained a First Class Honours degree in Jurisprudence from Oxford University in 1964 and a post-graduate degree, Bachelor of Civil Law, also with First Class Honours, in 1965. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1966 and admitted as an Attorney in the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands in November 1999. Kenneth joined the litigation department of Quin & Hampson in October 1999 and was made partner in 2004. Prior to joining Quin & Hampson, he had been a member of Serle Court Chambers (formerly Thirteen Old Square), Lincoln’s Inn and practiced at the Chancery Bar for over thirty years. During that time, he gained extensive experience of corporate, commercial and trusts litigation as well as of non-contentious trusts work. Between 1984 and 1996 he sat as an Assistant Recorder and Recorder trying both civil and criminal cases. He was one of the Bar Representatives on the Legal Aid Board between 1988 and 1992. He contributed to the Cayman Islands’ chapter in Sweet & Maxwell’s Special Report on Cross-Frontier Insolvency of Insurance Companies (2001).
