Cookson Group plc - offering of ordinary shares

Mourant du Feu & Jeune’s Brian Scholfield and Veronica Strande advised Cookson Group plc on the Jersey aspects of an offering of approximately £150.5 million worth of ordinary shares. The proceeds of the offering were used to purchase Foseco plc a company which supplies products to the foundry and steel industries.

Cookson Group is a leading materials science company operating on a worldwide basis in Ceramics, Electronics and Precious Metals markets.
