Application in the Royal Court on behalf of Lenz & Staehelin

Giles Corbin, Jonathan Speck and Damian Evans made an application to the Royal Court of Jersey under Hastings Bass principles for a declaration that a deed of amendment made in 1997 to the trust is declared void ab initio. The 1997 deed was made with the intention of preserving tax efficiency of the Trust but in fact had a counterproductive effect.
