Giles Corbin, Craig Swart and Thomas Morgan advised the trustee on various options to eliminate any fixed interests arising under trusts in favour of Canadian residents as determined by Canadian tax laws and expediently settled instruments of partial exclusion of Canadian residents from the default beneficiary provisions and all other provisions under the affected trusts in advance of proposed Canadian tax law changes coming into force.
