James joined Mourant du Feu & Jeune in October 2001, having graduated from Cambridge University and having previously worked in London for a major City law firm. James’ practice covers corporate (including complex corporate structuring, IPOs, redomiciliations, M&A and joint venture work), investment funds (both public and private, covering all relevant asset types), capital markets (debt and equity), banking and general offshore structuring work. James’ clients include Vodafone, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Lloyds TSB, Morgan Stanley, RBS, Cairn Energy, Heritage Oil, KazakhGold, Polyus Gold, Wood Group, Capital & Regional, Highcross, SWIP and Invesco. James has played an important role in company law developments in Jersey over recent years.
