Simon played a leading role in the development of the ground-breaking extension to the Financial Services (Jersey) Law, which made Jersey a leader in setting standards in financial regulation, and is now closely involved in the revision of Jersey’s anti-money laundering standards. A Jersey advocate and Mourant du Feu & Jeune partner, he is head of the firm’s Financial Services team which specialises in regulatory and Jersey banking advice. Simon is also a member of the Jersey Financial Services Commission’s various steering groups in relation to anti-money laundering and financial services business.
