Beverley is Head of the Disputes Resolution Team. She works with leading financial institutions and corporates in resolving regulatory issues and managing investigations in offshore jurisdictions. In addition, Beverley has particular expertise in corporate and shareholder disputes. She qualified as a barrister in 1985, an Advocate in 1994 and became a partner in 1996. A Crown Advocate, Beverley acts on behalf of HM Attorney General in Jersey and also for the Jersey Financial Services Commission. Many cases are confidential. In 2006 she successfully prosecuted in the headline case (and appeal) of HM Attorney General -v- Caversham. The case firmly established Jersey’s position world-wide in relation to anti-money laundering procedures.
