Peter is the Head of Litigation and Insolvency in the Cayman office of Mourant du Feu & Jeune. Prior to joining Mourant, he was a partner at Matthew Arnold & Baldwin and before that he worked at Allen & Overy for eight years. Peter has extensive experience of financial services litigation and insolvency matters. He has worked in-house at UBS and Barclays.
Professional qualifications:
Peter was admitted as an English solicitor (now non-practising) in 1996 and granted higher rights of audience in 2002. He was admitted as a Cayman Islands attorney in 2008.

Algosaibi v Saad litigation – Peter leads the team at Mourant acting for the Algosaibis in pursuing a US$9.2 billion claim against Saad.
Re Lancelot Investors Fund Ltd – Peter acted for the directors in a case which established the approach to be adopted in cross-border insolvencies involving Cayman Islands mutual funds.
Peter is acting in a number of hedge fund related cases advising funds, directors, liquidators and investors.
