Employment history:
Ben became a partner of Mourant du Feu & Jeune in October 2002. He has broad experience in the fields of offshore capital markets, structured finance and investment funds. He has over ten years’ experience in establishing and advising on securitisation and repackaging transactions, including MTN and commercial paper programmes for financial institutions such as The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, HSBC, Credit Suisse International and HypoVereinsbank, and tier one capital raising transactions for West LB, Erste Bank, Helaba and Deutsche Postbank AG.
Encompassing Mourant du Feu & Jeune’s Jersey and Guernsey offices, Ben’s finance practice also includes work on high value, pan-Channel Islands, structured finance transactions.
Professional qualifications:
Ben trained with Speechly Bircham in London where he qualified as an English solicitor in 1996 (currently non-practising). He qualified as a Jersey solicitor in December 2000.
