Legal 500 Caribbean 2026 recognises Mourant among top law firms in the region

We have achieved 13 team rankings in Legal 500 Caribbean 2026, with our lawyers gaining 27 individual rankings in the latest guide.
Legal 500 is a leading legal directory that ranks law firms and lawyers based on independent research and client feedback. In the latest Caribbean guide, our expertise in BVI and Cayman Islands law is recognised in practice areas including Investment Funds, Banking, Finance and Capital Markets, Dispute Resolution and Regulatory and Compliance.
In addition, we are delighted to have been awarded a top-tier 'Leading Firm' ranking in the 'Foreign-based Expertise' category, which recognises firms with Caribbean legal knowledge operating outside the region. This accolade highlights our capability to deliver BVI and Cayman Islands legal advice from our offices in key international finance centres, including London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
We are also celebrating further success with recognition in the 'Trusts/Private Client' category in both the BVI and the Cayman Islands in the first year of submitting for this area. Our BVI team entered in Tier 1 – the highest ranking awarded by Legal 500.
