Danielle Roman shortlisted in Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2019

Danielle Roman has been shortlisted in the Euromoney Legal Media Group Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2019 in the offshore category.

The recognition follows a year of success for Danielle, who was named as a leader in her field by the 2019 Who's Who Legal: Aviation guide for the second year in a row and is on the Leadership Team for Advancing Women in Aviation Roundtable. Alongside partner Chinyin Johnston, Danielle led the team advising ORIX Aviation on the Cayman legal aspects of its acquisition of a 30% stake of Avolon Holdings Ltd., the world’s third largest aircraft lessor by fleet size. This deal won ‘Overall Deal of the Year' at the 2019 Airfinance Journal Awards.

Danielle is co-chair of Women in Fund Finance Asia and on the steering committee for the Fund Finance Association's symposium for Asia. Danielle is also recognised as a leading practitioner by the major legal directories, including Chambers Asia-Pacific (2019) where clients state that she is "incredibly dedicated to delivering top client service. She is extremely responsive, commercial and great to work with."

The awards celebrate the achievements of women in the legal profession throughout Asia and winners will be announced at an event on November 13 in Hong Kong.
