Mourant Partner appointed to the Fund Finance Association Board

Danielle Roman, a partner in the Banking and Finance team at leading offshore legal and governance services firm Mourant has been appointed to the board of the Fund Finance Association (FFA).

A long-time contributor to the FFA, Danielle has led or co-led many of the FFA’s initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region, including co-chairing the FFA’s flagship Asia-Pacific conferences since their inception in 2017. She is also a board member of Women in Fund Finance and co-chair of the Asia chapter.

In 2020, she was awarded the Dee Dee Sklar Women in Fund Finance Award for her outstanding contributions to the industry. The award recognises Danielle's outstanding overall contribution to women in fund finance and the industry, furthering the purposes and objective of the FFA's Women in Fund Finance (WFF) initiative.

Danielle who is based in the firm's Hong Kong office said: “I am passionate about the work that we do in the fund finance industry, and am proud of the contribution that we have made to this sector. I hope, as board member, that I can continue to advocate for the fund finance industry in Asia and beyond, while promoting a diversity of leaders within the industry".
