Nicola Davies Chief Executive, Mourant Limited
Nicola Davies began her career with Mourant in 1988 practising corporate and financial law. She was appointed Deputy Managing Partner in 2002 and Chief Executive of the newly-created Mourant Limited in the following year. Since that time she has overseen business acquisitions in Guernsey, Jersey and Cayman, expansion into New York, San Francisco and Dubai, the sale of part of the business to HBOS plc, and the transition from partnership to corporate structure, all against a background of continuous profit growth.

Ian James Chairman
Ian is one of the best-known names in the fields of offshore structured finance and securitisation. Chambers Global directory has described him as a ’legend in his field’. He became a Jersey solicitor in 1986 and was subsequently made a Mourant partner. As a member of Mourant du Feu & Jeune’s Capital Markets and Corporate & Banking teams, he has advised on many of the most significant commercial transactions to have been structured in Jersey in recent years, with a particular emphasis on corporate and structured finance matters.

Jonathan Rigby Managing Partner, Mourant du Feu & Jeune
In April 2008, Jonathan Rigby was appointed Managing Partner of Mourant du Feu & Jeune. He has been a partner and a member of the Mourant du Feu & Jeune management board since 2003, serving for two years as an elected member of the Mourant supervisory board.
He advises leading financial institutions, corporates and intermediaries on a wide range of capital markets, structured finance and investment fund transactions. Between 2003 and 2006, Jonathan was the head of the firm’s London office and led the team through a period of significant growth to become one of the largest offshore practices in the City. He has also been named as a leading lawyer in IFLR’s guide to the worlds leading structured finance and securitisation lawyers.

Ian Lambert CEO, Mourant International Finance Administration
Ian Lambert joined Mourant in October 2003 to head its Jersey fund administration business. A chartered accountant, Ian qualified with Coopers & Lybrand in 1990 and joined Reads Trust Company in 1992 where he became a director in 1998 with responsibility for the institutional fund administration department. Ian is now Chief Executive Officer of Mourant’s International Finance Administration business, responsible for over 500 staff working in all aspects of corporate and fund administration. Ian also sits on the board of directors of a number of large private equity and real estate funds and management companies.

Anthony Cooke-Yarborough CEO, Mourant Private Wealth
Anthony Cooke-Yarborough is a highly experienced private wealth professional who joined Mourant in 2005 from Barclays Private Bank where he was head of their UK division. Before Barclays, Anthony was deputy head of UK Private Client Business at Merrill Lynch and has previously spent 17 years with Lloyds Bank in jurisdictions including New York, London, Madrid and Brazil.

Peter Pichler Chief Operating Officer
Peter Pichler qualified as a chartered accountant in both England & Wales and Canada with Ernst & Young in London and Toronto respectively. Peter has extensive senior management experience through a wide variety of business, operations and IT initiatives. After leaving public practice in 1979, he has pursued a career in treasury, banking and financial services with Midland Bank, HSBC and Deutsche Bank. He moved with Midland Bank to Jersey in 1988. Peter retired from Deutsche Bank’s Offshore Group as Chief Executive in 2005 before joining Mourant, initially as a strategic business consultant and subsequently as Group Chief Operating Officer.

Peter Jowett Finance Director
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Peter has wide experience in a variety of manufacturing and service sector operations ranging from head office positions in medium sized public groups to smaller private companies. He has been Financial Director of three publicly quoted companies and his experience has included a number of turnaround, integration and profit improvement situations requiring tight financial control and cash flow management. Peter joined Mourant in 2001 on a consultancy assignment involving the successful negotiation, planning and integration of an acquisition. He became assistant to the managing partner working on major projects and strategic planning, and has been group Financial Director since 2003.

John Renz Director of Human Resources
John has broad experience in a range of service industries, multi-jurisdictional businesses and organisations going through periods of rapid change. He joined Mourant from CMS Cameron McKenna, the international law firm, where as HR Director he project managed the merger of Cameron Markby Hewitt and McKennas. With almost 20 years’ experience in HR management, John has held senior positions with Standard Life, global accounting and business advisory firm Grant Thornton and City law firm Linklaters. He is an experienced speaker on subjects including HR strategy, change management and organisational development.
