Offshore holding companies are becoming increasingly attractive for foreign-domiciled trading groups seeking to list on international markets. A growing number of companies from emerging markets such as India and China are seeking to raise capital through more established markets, including London’s AIM market, which now has more than 250 non-UK companies from 26 countries.
Meanwhile, our debt capital markets practice is thriving, In the past five years there has been a huge increase in the number CDOs being established offshore and last year we advised many of the leading players, including JPMorgan, CALYON, RBS, Wachovia and Deutsche Bank.
