Tim joins Mourant from Fortis Prime Fund Solutions where he spent more than 11 years, the last four as Managing Director during which time the business grew impressively. Before his time with Fortis, Tim spent more than seven years with Ernst & Young in London and Hong Kong where he specialised in providing audit and advisory services to companies in the financial services sector. Tim has significant experience of the Asian market having been based in Hong Kong for 15 years. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young in London and has been a member of the ICAEW since 1991.

Cengiz Somay heads up the Singapore office. Cengiz has 15 years accounting and finance experience leading corporate start-up, growth and turnaround phases in a number of multinationals and small-medium sized corporations, having previously worked as the controller on the proprietary trading desk at CIBC Wood Gundy and in the audit and assurance division of PwC. Cengiz also holds an MBA and MA from Warwick Business School.
