Tim joined Mourant in September 2007 to establish and oversee the growth of the new offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. He was previously with Fortis Prime Fund Solutions where he spent more than 11 years, the last four as Managing Director during which time the business grew impressively. Before his time with Fortis, Tim spent more than seven years with Ernst & Young in London and Hong Kong where he specialised in providing audit and advisory services to companies in the financial services sector. Tim has significant experience of the Asian market having been based in Hong Kong for over 17 years. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young in London and has been a member of the ICAEW since 1991.

James, Managing Director of Singapore, joined Mourant in 2007 having previously been Head of Financial Reporting for Mourant Asia. Previously, James was a Senior Manager with PwC Jersey, where he managed the audit of a portfolio of Private Equity Funds, Credit Derivative Structures and Asset Backed Securities. He has over 10 years’ experience auditing entities within financial services across Europe and offshore domiciles, and was a member of PwC Jersey’s IFRS technical committee. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Member of the Securities & Investment Institute.
