Mourant Prize

Prominent art competition - exclusive to Guernsey resident artists - back by popular demand.

Mourant, the award-winning provider of offshore legal and international administration services, continues to build its links with the Guernsey community and show its long-term commitment to the island by holding its art competition and exhibition once more. Last year’s competition was a great success - we received over 300 entries from all areas of the Guernsey art community.

We are offering all entrants the chance to win £1000 and have their work on display Guernsey Airport over the Christmas period - last year around 75,000 travelled through the airport.

Once again, we’re calling on all Guernsey resident artists to enter an original piece of art for possible inclusion in an exhibition at Guernsey Airport between 14 December 2007 and 14 January 2008 – a central point of focus over the busy Christmas/New Year travelling period. We hope that this choice of display site and time period will give the artists great exposure for their work. We invite anyone viewing the exhibition to vote for their favourite piece.

What we’re looking for...

  • Two dimensional, original artwork, static and unframed, in any medium, including photography, drawing, painting and etching.
  • Guernsey resident artists of all ages are eligible to enter
  • Entries must not be larger than an A1 flipchart.

Submit your piece/s along with the entry form no later than Friday 7 December 2007 5.00pm.
