Channel Islands Stock Exchange
The Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX) was launched in October 1998. It provides a platform for the listing and electronic trading of shares, debt securities issues and other instruments issued by trading companies, investment funds and other investment vehicles. As of 15 May 2007 the CISX had over 2,000 securities admitted to listing and has experienced significant growth in the number of new securities admitted to listing in the period from the beginning of 2004.

Our Channel Island Stock Exchange (CISX) listing services include:
- Providing guidance on the CISX listing rules
- Ensuring compliance with relevant requirements of the listing rules
- Preparing and lodging formal applications with the CISX in relation to listings and continuous obligations
- Making announcements and filings in relation to listed securities
- Seeking CISX approval for the listing prospectus and other disclosure documents
- Preparation of all listing documents
- Acting as authorised representative to the issuer in connection with the
listing of securities on the CISX
- Assisting with the listing of any further securities issued on a fully fungible basis

Gareth joined Mourant in 1988, having already amassed many years’ experience in company administration. From August 2005,Gareth assumed the role of Head of Corporate Operations responsible for managing its various teams in relation to new and existing capital market and

Jason joined Mourant in 2003 after completing his degree in business studies and sports science from the University of Plymouth and St Mark and St John’s college. Since joining Mourant, Jason has worked in the international finance administration sector, specialising in the corporate administration of international capital markets, debt repackaging and structured finance SPVs. Jason is currently enrolled with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is in the final stages of his
professional qualification. Jason has responsibility for the development of Mourant’s CISX listing services.

Ewa obtained a law degree from the University in Poland and graduated with her Magister Juris in June 2004 (equivalent to a United Kingdom LLB and LLM combined). She joined Mourant in 2004 and is currently studying to become an English solicitor through part-time study. As an experienced member of the Mourant Capital Markets team, Ewa has been responsible for many high profile CISX listing projects. Her general areas of experience include listing requirements and application for listing any type of security.

Martin is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a degree in politics from Loughborough University. Before joining Mourant in November 2007, Martin held senior roles at Northern Trust, which was previously Guernsey International Fund Managers Ltd, with responsibility for the administration and financial reporting of a wide portfolio of private equity clients with funds in different jurisdictions.
