CISX Listing Services, International recognition
The CISX has attracted the following international recognition:

The CISX is licensed to operate as an investment exchange under The Protection of Investors (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 1987, as amended, and is regulated by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC), a member of IOSCO, the International Organisation of Securities Commission.

The UK Financial Services Authority has approved the CISX, with effect from the 1 February 2004, as a Designated Investment Exchange within the meaning of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

On 10 December 2002, the UK Inland Revenue (now "HM Revenue & Customs") designated the CISX as a Recognised Stock Exchange under Section 841 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act, 1988 (ICTA).

In October 2003, the CISX was approved as an Affiliate Member of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).

In August 2005, the CISX became an Associate Member of the International Capital Market Services Association (ICMSA).

In September 2002, the US Securities and Exchange Commission has designated the CISX as a Designated Offshore Securities Market, within the meaning of Rule 902(b) under Regulation S of the Securities Act of 1933.

In July 2000 the CISX was officially recognised by the Australian Stock Exchange.

The CISX is registered with the World Federation of Exchanges as a ’corresponding market’.

Gareth joined Mourant in 1988, having already amassed many years’ experience in company administration. From August 2005,Gareth assumed the role of Head of Corporate Operations responsible for managing its various teams in relation to new and existing capital market and

Jason joined Mourant in 2003 after completing his degree in business studies and sports science from the University of Plymouth and St Mark and St John’s college. Since joining Mourant, Jason has worked in the international finance administration sector, specialising in the corporate administration of international capital markets, debt repackaging and structured finance SPVs. Jason is currently enrolled with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is in the final stages of his
professional qualification. Jason has responsibility for the development of Mourant’s CISX listing services.

Ewa obtained a law degree from the University in Poland and graduated with her Magister Juris in June 2004 (equivalent to a United Kingdom LLB and LLM combined). She joined Mourant in 2004 and is currently studying to become an English solicitor through part-time study. As an experienced member of the Mourant Capital Markets team, Ewa has been responsible for many high profile CISX listing projects. Her general areas of experience include listing requirements and application for listing any type of security.

Martin is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a degree in politics from Loughborough University. Before joining Mourant in November 2007, Martin held senior roles at Northern Trust, Which was previously Guernsey International Fund Managers Ltd, with responsibility for the administration and financial reporting of a wide portfolio of private equity clients with funds in different jurisdictions.
