Mourant du Feu & Jeune’s Employment Law Team, Legal 500’s top tier for Employment Law in the Channel Islands, headed by Helen Ruelle, provides expert advice to many large international and domestic employers. The team advises on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters and offers effective and commercial high quality solutions across the Channel Islands.
The team has a wealth of experience in advising on all aspects of the employer-employee relationship including unfair dismissal, compromise agreements, discrimination, restrictive covenants, handbooks, disciplinary and grievance procedures and tribunal claims.
We focus on providing advice to employers and building close relationships with them so that we are familiar with the commercial context and are best placed to protect their interests.
We also support our clients by providing non-legalistic training sessions for managers and HR professionals to keep them up to date with the law and best practice. Through these sessions, we aim to raise their awareness of employment-related risks and suggest practical techniques to reduce those risks.
