Prior to joining Mourant, Matt qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers specialising in Banking and Investment funds. Subsequently he worked at Butterfield Fund Services in Fund Accounting. Matt joined Mourant in 2004 as Head of Accounting in Guernsey. In 2006 he moved to Mourant’s London office where he sat on the board of the UK company as the FSA finance officer as well as the boards of a number of client companies including a well known Private Equity Infrastructure fund.
After a year in Mourant’s Dubai office where he oversaw new business development in the Middle East he returned home to Mourant’s Guernsey office where he is now Managing Director. As MD, Matt oversees the client service teams and is charged with growing the Guernsey office. He regularly writes for industry journals and speaks about fund administration at industry events.

Lorna qualified as a chartered accountant with a small family practice in Scotland before moving to KPMG in Guernsey July 1996. After four years in Guernsey she spent a further year and a half in KPMG’s Sydney office. Upon returning to Guernsey Lorna moved out of audit and into fund administration. Currently she runs a team looking after a high profile private equity client incorporated in Guernsey.
