PRIME™ - an independent view on investments

Our Portfolio Risk and Investment Management Evaluation service (PRIME™ ) provides an independent view on the performance of clients’ portfolios and investment managers. It aims to ensure that managers are adding value and successfully meeting objectives.

PRIME™ monitors portfolio performance by comparing investment returns against cash and the portfolio manager’s agreed benchmark. It also explores the level of risk taken to achieve the performance, and compares it with the results of managers who took a similar level of risk. This has proved invaluable in identifying opportunities to improve portfolio performance while maintaining the same risk profile, or in some cases, adopting lower risk.
