Mourant announces 45 promotions globally

Leading offshore law and governance services firm, Mourant, has announced seven promotions in its Hong Kong office.

James Broad in the firm's Corporate and Funds team has been promoted to Counsel.

James specialises in investment funds with a focus on private equity and hedge funds, and has experience advising on private mergers and acquisitions. His expertise includes guiding clients through the initial set-up process, launch and ongoing operation and maintenance of their fund, especially in respect of Cayman Islands regulatory matters applicable to fund managers.

Hong Kong Corporate and Funds Associate, Allison Hune has been promoted to Senior Associate and Freya Xu became Associate in the same practice group. Katherine Zeng became Associate in the Banking & Finance practice group and in the Business Services team, Adrienne Fong has been promoted to Administrative Assistant.

In affiliated business, Mourant Governance Services, Cristal Ho and Alice Lai have been promoted to Senior Manager. Cristal has experience in the governance and management of private equity fund and corporate structures. Alice advises on corporate governance, on-boarding, company administration and board support in the offshore corporate, private equity, real estate and fund service industries.
