Corporate Jet Investor Asia 2017
Danielle moderated the panel discussion 'The importance of aircraft registration' which considered the importance of the Cape Town convention and how to choose between jurisdictions. Commenting on the outcome of the session, Danielle said:
"According to the audience poll at the CJI conference, the most important factor in choosing the right aircraft registry was cost and speed of registration. Around 90% of the audience also voted in favour of the importance of the Cape Town Convention in choosing an aircraft registry. The panel concluded that there is no 'one superior aircraft registry', because every owner has different needs. Choosing the right (or wrong) aircraft registry can materially impact the aircraft value, taxation and aircraft operation. The key is to get advice early from technical experts, legal advisors and financiers."
