Mourant and QEB Hollis Whiteman are hosting our Financial Services & Regulatory Forum on the afternoon of 2 October 2018.
We are delighted to announce that H.M. Attorney General, Robert MacRae QC has agreed to deliver our keynote address. The Attorney General will update the audience on the most recent initiatives in the Island aimed at ensuring Jersey stays at the forefront of the fight against financial crime, including an update on the establishment and working of the Economic Crime and Confiscation Unit.
We are further delighted to confirm we will be joined by Mike Jones, Director, Policy of the Jersey Financial Services Commission and Jennie Haslett, Head of FATF and International Branch I Sanctions and Illicit Finance at HM Treasury. Mike will provide us all with an update on the work of the Commission and forthcoming regulatory updates to be aware of. Jennie will provide her valuable insight into international regulatory initiatives which may impact on Jersey businesses.
