I’m Counsel in our Hong Kong Litigation practice.
Before joining Mourant Ozannes, I spent four years in the jurisdiction at Harney Westwood & Riegels specialising in litigation, insolvency and restructuring, practising BVI and Cayman Islands law.
Prior to this, I worked in Allen & Overy's Dispute Resolution practice in Hong Kong and with Herbert Smith (now Herbert Smith Freehills) in London.
My practice comprises general commercial disputes, particularly shareholder disputes, including unfair prejudice claims, derivative actions, and winding-up proceedings brought on just and equitable grounds.
I’ve represented clients in relation to dissenting shareholder appraisal actions brought under the Cayman Islands company merger legislation. I have experience advising on contentious trust matters and investment fund disputes and regularly advise on interim applications in support of foreign proceedings, such as interim injunctions and disclosure applications.
I also advise debtors and creditors in insolvency proceedings and have represented clients in non-contentious restructurings including schemes of arrangement.
I’m the Chair and co-founder of LILA Hong Kong – Ladies in Litigation and Arbitration is a professional and social networking group offering educational opportunities and promoting collaboration between women in the profession.
