Jonathon Milne

I’m Counsel in our Cayman Islands office. Over the past decade, I’ve advised on a wide range of complex commercial disputes, cross-border insolvency processes and corporate restructures. I've appeared before courts in multiple jurisdictions, including at appellate level.

My primary focus has been on financial services disputes; advising insolvency practitioners, investment funds, private equity firms and major financial institutions.  I’ve also advised on significant multinational asset-tracing and fraud claims involving parties across the globe.

Prior to joining Mourant, I practised at leading law firms in Auckland, Dublin and London.  In 2012, I spent several months on secondment to the recoveries and litigation team at the Royal Bank of Scotland (London).  I'm a regular contributor to law reviews and other publications such as the Cayman Financial Review, LexisNexis and Global Restructuring Review.
