Overview

I'm an Attorney and the Head of the Compliance & Reporting Services for Mourant Governance Services in the Cayman Islands where we provide Anti-Money Laundering Reporting & Compliance Officer services as well as AEOI reporting services, to Cayman Islands entities.

Having worked as legal counsel with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, Head of Compliance for the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bermuda as well as a regulatory lawyer and more recently, in delivering AML officer services, for another top tier Cayman Islands law firm, I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience from all aspects of the AML/Compliance function.

I am the Chairman of the Caribbean Regional Compliance Association, the Immediate Past President of the Cayman Islands Compliance Association and I also sit on the ACAMS AML & Financial Crime Caribbean Task Force.  In addition, I am the chairman of the AML Steering Group of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association and  a guest lecturer at the Truman Bodden Law School. I was also the Legal Assessor for the Third Round of Mutual Evaluation of the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force for the British Virgin Islands on the FATF 40 Recommendations.
