In 2012, Mourant Ozannes opened its first Asia office in Hong Kong with a vision to provide multi-jurisdictional offshore legal advice to clients based in the Asia Pacific region. In Hong Kong we specialise in investment funds, corporate, banking and finance, litigation and insolvency with a focus on private equity and real estate matters. We also provide a full service corporate offering through our dedicated corporate services team, Mourant Governance Services.
Today, we are recognized as one of the fastest growing offshore law firms in Asia Pacific. This year our Hong Kong partnership has grown by 80% reflecting our commitment to developing and sustaining a market-leading presence in the region.
We are committed to building diverse and inclusive teams across our firm. Our Hong Kong office partnership is 45% female and many of our team are bi or multi-lingual. With our team's extensive experience and understanding of doing business in Asia we are dedicated to delivering our clients seamless legal and governance services.
Our lawyers in Asia provide extensive multi-disciplinary and cross-jurisdictional legal advice across a range of practice areas to clients including many of the world's leading financial institutions, public companies, corporations, and fund promoters as well as high net worth individuals. We act as offshore counsel on many of the region's most complex, high-profile transactions and cases.

“I arrived in Hong Kong over eleven years ago to set up the Mourant Ozannes office in Asia. It was a greenfield site and my role was to build a team and be the "DNA" having worked for the firm in Europe for several years before that. The office has grown from just me to an office of over 55 people.
