About the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation

The mission of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation is to provide social entrepreneurs access to first-class legal advice and to strengthen the rule of law. Social entrepreneurs are change makers—individuals and organisations that respond to market failures and social problems with transformative and sustainable innovations aimed at improving the lives of the poor and disenfranchised.

Drawing on the talents and resources of Lex Mundi’s powerful network of more than 160 law firms and 21,000 lawyers in more than 100 countries worldwide, the Foundation matches experienced lawyers to social entrepreneurs on a pro bono basis enabling them to carry out their missions of positive social change to improve communities and the lives of the poor and disenfranchised.
