Over 150 trust and private wealth specialists from Cayman, the United Kingdom and the United States will converge at a major trust and private client event being held by leading international law firm, Mourant Ozannes at the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa on Friday 6 October 2017.

The full-day conference, now in its seventh year, brings together professionals from across the wealth sector keen to hear from a compelling line up of speakers chaired by Mourant Ozannes Global Head of International Trusts & Private Client, Jim Edmondson. The conference has attracted key international sponsors Smith & Williamson, Fund Finance Partners and NCB Cayman Limited.

The theme of this year's conference is 'Seeking certainty in uncertain times'. Lawyers from Mourant Ozannes' renowned Trusts & Private Client (ITPC) team will be joined by other well-known experts to debate, amongst other areas, key issues for trusts. and trustees.

Jim Edmondson commented: "This one-day Cayman conference has become a key event in the wealth management world as it brings together leading specialists to debate key issues affecting the industry. Facing increased regulation, the erosion of confidentiality and negative media coverage, the financial services sector in the offshore market is going through a period of unprecedented and persistent uncertainty.

"Our 2017 programme is designed to explore these concerns, setting out the likely future landscape as well as addressing specific issues relevant and useful to trustees and advisors. It promises to give attendees some real food for thought as well as practical direction to take back to their own organisations."

Key speakers include Charlie Sosna (Mischon de Reya), Jude Scott (Cayman Finance), Richard Wilson QC (Serle Court), Jenny McKeown (Stephenson Harwood), Mona Vaswani (Allen & Overy), Jonathan Riley (Michelmores LLP), Nicholas Holland (McDermott Will & Emery), Andrew Needham (Sackville Bank), Matthew Braithwaite (Bircham Dyson Bell), Emily Exton (Forsters LLP), Hal J.
