Seventh annual ITPC conference success

Over 120 delegates descended upon the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa to join local and international expert speakers at the seventh annual Mourant Ozannes International Trusts & Private Client Conference on Friday 6 October in the Cayman Islands.

The conference was led by Jim Edmondson, Head of International Trusts & Private Client and explored the theme 'Seeking certainty in uncertain times'.

The hot topic debate this year differed from last, focusing on 'the global attack on the offshore jurisdictions has gone far enough', which encouraged audience participation and had the panel on their toes.

Delegates and speakers gave positive feedback on the conference saying that it was "the best year yet!"

Other Mourant Ozannes speakers included Rob Shepherd, Jonathan Speck, Tony Pursall, Simon Dickson, Hector Robinson QC, and Andrew Peedom. They were joined by a number of international speakers from firms including Smith & Williamson, Serle Court, Allen & Overy, McDermott Will & Emery, Forsters, Bircham Dyson Bell, Michelmores, Mischon de Reya and local speakers, Jude Scott from Cayman Finance and Andrew Needham from Sackville Bank.
