Who's Who Legal: Aviation 2019 names Mourant Partners as 'leaders in their fields'

Mourant Ozannes Hong Kong Partners Simon Lawrenson and Danielle Roman have once again been recognised for their expertise in aviation financing.

The two Partners were named by the 2019 Who's Who Legal: Aviation guide as leaders in their fields of aviation law and financing. The guide is based on independent research and recommendations from peers and clients in their respective fields and Mourant is the only offshore firm in Asia to achieve two listings in the directory. This demonstrates the real strength and depth of Mourant’s aviation capabilities in Asia.

In 2018, Mourant won a prestigious award for 'Best cross-border airline or lessor financing by a Chinese financier' category at Airfinance Journal's inaugural China Awards, for their involvement in advising Comsys (Tianjin) Leasing Company Ltd. on its acquisition of an Airbus A380 aircraft. The team was also acknowledged by Asia Business Law Journal's "Deals of the Year" for acting as counsel for Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CACIB) on the US$65m commercial financing of 14 engines for Asia Aviation Capital Limited, the leasing arm of AirAsia.
