Mourant maintains 13 top tier rankings in The Legal 500 UK 2023 guide

Mourant, a law firm-led professional services business, has maintained 13 top tier rankings for another year in The Legal 500 United Kingdom 2023 edition.

For over 30 years, The Legal 500 legal directory has independently analysed the capabilities of law firms across the world. Its comprehensive research programme is revised and updated every year to present the most up-to-date vision of the global legal market.

Mourant's top tier rankings were achieved by teams based in the firm's Guernsey and Jersey offices. The teams' expertise is recognised in areas including banking and finance, investment funds, corporate and commercial law, capital markets, and dispute resolution, among others. Mourant is also ranked in the 'Offshore London Firms in London' category.

As well as these team rankings, 36 of the firm's Partners, Counsel and Senior Associates gained the prestigious individual rankings of Leading Individual, Rising Star or Next Generation Partner. These professionals are the leaders in their fields, with the directory's research rating them as the go-to authorities in their areas of expertise.

In addition, Mourant lawyers were awarded with 10 highly sought-after Hall of Fame accolades. To be eligible for the Hall of Fame, lawyers must be widely regarded as being at the very top of the profession, and been consistently ranked as Leading Individuals by The Legal 500 for a number of years.

The Legal 500's research and ranking tables are based on independent feedback from over 300,000 clients and legal services consumers worldwide, alongside submissions from law firms and interviews with leading lawyers.

This latest independent recognition by The Legal 500 comes off the back of the recent publication of IFLR1000's 2022-2023 guide, where Mourant successfully maintained rankings across the board in all offshore jurisdictions where the firm operates.
