Associate Director, Forensics & eDiscovery
I am an Associate Director in the Digital Forensics & eDiscovery team at Mourant, based in London. With a career spanning two decades in the legal technology sector, I’ve held roles at some of the world’s leading eDiscovery providers and now lead strategic initiatives to modernise and streamline discovery processes within the firm.
My specialist areas include forensic data collection, multi-jurisdictional litigation support, and the implementation of advanced technologies such as AI-driven review platforms. I’ve worked extensively on matters involving litigation, investigations, fraud, and DSARs, supporting legal teams across sectors including financial services, trust and fiduciary, and regulatory compliance.
At Mourant, I’ve built a fully operational eDiscovery department capable of managing end-to-end discovery workflows in-house. This includes forensic collections from platforms like Office 365 and webmail, reducing reliance on external providers and significantly cutting costs. I’ve also led the transition of legacy matters into modern platforms such as Disco, and developed comprehensive how-to guides and training materials to empower legal teams to conduct their own searches—enhancing billable time and reducing project management overhead
My approach is rooted in transparency, innovation, and strategic foresight. I’ve contributed to thought leadership in the field, including interviews on the role of AI in legal practice and the importance of coherent eDiscovery strategies.
I regularly collaborate with litigation teams to raise awareness of risk and compliance protocols and have authored internal policies and best practices that underpin our discovery operations. I also draft affidavits which are used to present factual, evidence handling and technical attestations in legal proceedings.
Whether supporting high-stakes litigation or advising on data strategy, I bring a pragmatic and forward-thinking mindset to every engagement.
Since launching Mourant’s eDiscovery service in 2022, I’ve led over 25 cross-functional engagements, enhancing our capacity to manage complex digital evidence across litigation and consulting teams.
I’ve developed internal playbooks and templates that have streamlined workflows, improved consistency, and supported the onboarding and mentoring of new team members.
My focus on professional development has helped foster a culture of recognition, with team members earning multiple DISCO certifications and advancing their technical expertise.
I co-authored a widely circulated article on litigation and eDiscovery trends, highlighting the evolving role of AI, predictive analytics, and Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) in dispute resolution. This piece also explored the growing importance of digital evidence in arbitration and intellectual property matters, helping to raise internal awareness of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) lifecycle.
Beyond technical delivery, I’ve championed community engagement by proposing legal mentorship initiatives for Positive Role Models CIC, aligning our digital forensics expertise with impactful youth development.
I’ve also contributed to firm-wide communications and video content that showcased the growth and innovation of the eDiscovery function, helping to position our team as a centre of excellence within the firm.
