For the fourth consecutive year, our Hong Kong team participated in a beach clean of Shek O Beach in the southeast of Hong Kong Island, in collaboration with representatives from Hong Kong Cleanup and the Hong Kong Football Club.

Together, the team of 33 volunteers collected nearly 300kg of waste. Participating in the beach clean was a stark reminder of the impact of waste on the ocean ecosystem and the actions we can all take to help protect the environment.

As part of our firm's commitment to the Mourant Ocean Pledge, we are actively involved in initiatives, such as beach cleans, which help protect and conserve marine conservation. This is particularly important to us, given that most of our office bases are on islands.

We also maintain ongoing partnerships with not-for-profit organisations committed to protecting our oceans, including Blue Marine Foundation, Ocean Culture Life and Plastic Free Cayman. These organisations have helped us to engage our people, clients, local schools, and other businesses within our local communities.
