Mourant shortlisted for Offshore Firm of the Year at Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards

Mourant Hong Kong is in the running for Offshore Firm of the Year at this year's Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards, following the team's success in the latest edition of the Chambers and Partners 2020 legal directory.

It's the latest in a hat trick of award recognition for the firm's Hong Kong team, which is celebrating its 8th anniversary this year and also announced last week that it has been nominated for Offshore Law Firm of the Year and Finance Deal of the Year at the 2020 Asia Legal Awards.

The Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards honour the work of national and international law firms across the region, based on the research for the latest edition of the legal directory. They recognise a law firm’s pre-eminence in Asia, as well as notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.

Mourant is highly regarded as one of the most dynamic offshore legal practices in Asia, having been the fastest growing offshore law firm in the region since the launch of its Hong Kong office in 2012.

News of the latest shortlisting follows a busy year for Mourant Hong Kong, with the continued growth of its team and a series of industry award wins, including China Business Law Journal's 'Deal of the Year' for two landmark China-related deals, ‘Overall Deal of the Year' at the Airfinance Journal Awards and M&A Deal of the Year at the ALB Hong Kong Law Awards.

Winners will be announced on 16 April 2020 in Singapore.
