Are you preparing for your first year at university, or are you already studying and looking to take your first step toward a career in law? If so, our student bursary scheme could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We’ve a fantastic opportunity for students to join our award winning team in Jersey. Our bursary students will gain insight into a wide range of legal practice areas and a variety of clients in an exciting and supportive environment.
Our clients include many of the world’s leading financial institutions, corporations, public organisations, private equity houses and investment funds, as well as ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices. We routinely work in partnership with the most prestigious international legal and accountancy firms.
What does our Bursary Scheme provide?
- Yearly bursary payment towards your academic fees
- Minimum four weeks guaranteed paid work experience per year
- Online resources with help and general information for you
- Personal mentor for the whole period of your bursary; during and outside of placements
- Support and expert guidance along with constructive feedback and valuable career advice
- Possibility of a career with Mourant when you finish your degree
Work experience
In addition to our bursary scheme, we also offer a work experience scheme which provides:
- Two weeks paid work experience in one of our practice groups
- Support and expert guidance along with constructive feedback and valuable career advice
- The option to apply to this scheme year-on-year to help you broaden your experience
