I’m Chief Governance Officer (CGO) for Mourant. I’m also one of our Inclusion Leaders and a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
I have responsibility for corporate governance issues affecting our business and act as company secretary for many of our in-house companies. I previously acted as a director of client and in-house companies and held internal MLRO and MLCO roles. Before becoming CGO, I was the first General Counsel of Mourant Governance Services.
I previously worked as a finance and corporate lawyer for Mourant in Jersey and Hong Kong. I advised on a broad range of transactions including M&A, joint ventures, equity and debt restructurings and lender and borrower side financings. I also completed a secondment with CVC Capital Partners in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Mourant in 2014, I worked at Pinsent Masons in Scotland.
