Governance Services

Overview

Overview

I joined Ernst and Young in 2003 working in Audit and Assurance, specialising in financial services.

In 2012, I moved into the commercial sector when I joined one of the major utility companies of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man as their Financial Controller. I progressed to become the Finance Director of the Group and spent several years operating at board level and leading the Group’s finance function.

In 2020, I joined Mourant Governance Services, initially project managing the accounting function for certain real estate acquisitions and disposals. I subsequently led the Corporate Accounting department of the Guernsey office, which had a heavy focus on UK real estate structures, including VAT and UK Corporation Tax.

I am currently the Head of Guernsey Accounting, overseeing the teams who continue to have heavy focus on UK real estate, VAT and UK Corporation Tax, but also significant exposure to debt structures, trusts and private equity.

The fostered values of my teams are for dynamic solutions based approaches, ensuring constantly evolving process improvement and producing high quality and robust outputs.
