We have strengthened our commitment to being a responsible and forward looking organisation through the publication of our first ESG Report in 2024. This marked an important milestone in our efforts to support our communities, protect the environment and embed strong governance across the firm. As part of the process, we completed our first sustainability materiality assessment and enhanced our global governance model, ensuring we have the right foundations for long term impact.
We recognise the role every business must play in shaping a sustainable future and remain open to feedback as we continue to develop and refine our approach.

Our ambitious Inclusion Strategy is supported by an active network of Inclusion Leaders and Networks, guided by the Inclusion Steering Group and underpinned by a clear plan for ongoing action. Every person at Mourant has a part to play in helping us realise this vision and driving meaningful progress.
Community

Our firm and our people support a wide range of local projects and fundraising initiatives across our global locations, including the BVI, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Jersey, London, Luxembourg, Mauritius and Singapore. Through this involvement we aim to make a positive and lasting difference to local causes and community organisations.

We have a strong track record in building highly successful ancillary businesses in order to provide our clients with services that complement our core legal offering. We were the first firm to establish a Channel Islands legal practice in London, one of the first law firms to adopt an alternative business model and successfully implemented the largest law firm merger in our markets. For over 25 years, we have been a member of Lex Mundi, the world’s leading network of independent law firms.
