Are you preparing for your first year at university, or are you already studying and looking to take your first step toward a career in law? If so, our student bursary scheme could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We’ve a fantastic opportunity for students to join our award winning team in Guernsey. On our scheme, you’ll gain a real insight into what it’s like to work in one of the world’s leading offshore law firms, and learn about a wide range of legal practice areas and clients in an exciting and supportive environment.
Plus, there are opportunities to continue your career with us after your studies, and even qualify as a Solicitor of England and Wales.
What does our Bursary Scheme provide?
- Yearly bursary payment towards your academic fees
- Minimum four weeks’ guaranteed paid work experience per year
- Online resources with help and general information
- Personal mentor for the whole period of your bursary; during and outside of placements
- Support and expert guidance along with constructive feedback and valuable career advice
- Opportunities to progress your career with our Solicitor Training Programme
- An ambitious, supportive and authentically inclusive culture
Work experience
In addition to our bursary scheme, we also offer a work experience scheme which provides:
- One week’s unpaid work experience
- The option to rotate across our legal practice areas and support teams, or spend one week with one of our business service areas
- Support and expert guidance along with constructive feedback and valuable career advice
