I am a member of the Fiduciary Services team of Mourant Governance Services in the Cayman Islands. My primary role is to provide independent director services to both regulated and non-regulated investment funds and other vehicles.

I have extensive experience in the fund governance space – including audit, fund administration and fund directorships. I have sat on the board of investment funds, including mutual and private funds registered with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. I work closely with lawyers, investment managers, administrators and other service providers on fund launches and the ongoing governance of investment funds and other vehicles. I lead regular board meetings attended by service providers to discuss risk management, regulatory compliance and various operational matters to ensure that the vehicles I sit on are subject to appropriate independent oversight.

I previously held senior manager roles with two Big Four audit firms, managing the audits of investment funds primarily domiciled in the Cayman Islands and the USA. In addition, I worked for one of the leading global fund administration companies managing a team of fund accountants responsible for clients’ day-to-day operations which encompassed trading, processing wires and NAV preparation. Most recently I was Vice President at a large professional services firm in the Cayman Islands where I provided independent director services to a wide range of entities including investment funds, GP entities, trading subsidiaries, holding companies and related structures.
