BVI Student Summer Course

Are you a BVI student ready to take your first step towards a career in financial services? We are working with H. Lavity Stoutt College, Robert Mathavious Institute for Financial Services to provide a curriculum based course for 15 – 18 year olds that will give you an insight into financial services and what the industry entails, along with the opportunity to learn and develop new verifiable skills that you can take forward to anything you choose to do in future.

If you’re beginning to think about what your future holds, whether a career in financial services is suited to you, or simply looking to gain some life skills and a better understanding of one of BVI’s biggest industries, this course could be for you. We’re looking for students who can bring positivity and enthusiasm, with a willingness to learn and get involved.

The Student Summer Course is designed to support the acquisition and development of the personal, professional and technical knowledge, and associated skills, to support a future career in the BVI Financial Services industry or similar jurisdiction.

In addition to the tutor led course, you will undertake an off-site visit to a financial services environment in order to experience the real-life industry and a corporate environment.
